Depression Glass Measuring Cup Rare Hazel Atlas for Kelloggs 1 cup Crystal Clear Rectangular All Bran Cereal 1920s Vintage Kitchenware

Kellogg's began promoting certain cereals using depression glass measuring cups as incentives to purchase their brand in the 1920s. This scarce Kellogg's measuring cup was given away in boxes of All Bran in the late 1920s in Canada. Made by Hazel-Atlas Glass Company for Kellogg's; this is a rectangular shaped, heavy glass double-sided measuring glass, one side with 1/3 cup increments and the other with 1/4 cup increments. Total capacity 1 cup/8 ounces. Embossed with the letter "K" on the bottom for Kellogg's. Measures 5 inches in length from the large spout to handle x 2 1/8 inches in width x 3 1/4 inches in height.

Condition: In good used condition, it has some scratches, but no chips or cracks and some evidence of shelf wear on the bottom. There are imperfections in the glass characteristic of the time it was made, straw marks and ridges in the glass, please see photos. It is a collectible item and quite a beautiful design with the rectangular shape, clear glass and clean aesthetic. Please refer to the pictures as they are a part of the description.
