Glass Decanter EAPG Daisy and Button with Narcissus Pattern Clear Indiana Glass Fancy Bottle Water Bottle Collectible Decorative Tableware

This is a unique and antique, Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) Liquor Decanter, it could also function as a water bottle; or if you were going to send in a message in a bottle, you would hope to send it in a fancy bottle such as this one right here! Circa 1910, it was crafted in Dunkirk, Indiana, USA by Indiana Glass Company. The glass pattern No. 0124 (OMN) on this piece is particularly striking; featuring a blend of Daisy and Button with lovely Narcissus blooms (also known as Clear Lily), it was one of Indiana's popular patterns between 1910 and 1920. The decanter measures 12 5/8 inches in height by 5.5 inches in width.

Condition: This collectible Liquor Decanter or Water Bottle is in excellent preloved condition for over 100 years old, there is a tiny chip on the lip of the bottle which is smooth and there is also a wavy imperfection on the lip from when it was manufactured (both of these imperfections are shown in the close up photos of the bottle.) There is a glass stopper included with the decanter; however, it is not the original one. It has common straw marks or lines and bubbles which are inherent to antique glass. This pattern on this piece is a lovely combination of both Daisy and Button with Narcissus blooms; two of my personal favourites together in one lovely piece of decorative and functional art glass! Frequently Asked Questions

Care instructions

Most vintage and antique glassware should be hand washed only and not in the dishwasher; especially any pieces with graphics or colourful patterns, for example Pyrex, Fire King, Glasbake, Corelle, drinkware, etc. Dishwashers can dull the finish on these unique pieces and cause premature wear to the surface and patterns or cause what is known as DWD or Dishwasher Damage which is irreversible. It's always better to be safe and wash by hand if you can.

Add some dish washing liquid into a sink or basin and add warm water. Placing a towel underneath can help to avoid breakage. It is best to use a damp cloth for any pieces with hand-painted decorations to preserve the art as even regular hand-washing can degrade these over time.

Does your store offer local pick-ups?

Absolutely! If you would like to coordinate a local pick-up in Durham Region you may either purchase the items and send a note after the fact to request a pick-up and we will then refund your shipping costs; or you can send a message prior to the order to request the local pick-up and we can remove the shipping costs on the items you wish to purchase. Ordering the items immediately will guarantee availability; this is the ideal method to ensure your selection(s) are not purchased by someone else in the interim, in case we do not respond to your inquiry soon enough (we will respond within 24 hours; however, we may not be available at the exact moment of your message)
